Writing Style Considered - Learn About Developing Yourself in Your Writing

There are Unbounded few secrets to writing that normally, well let us just say, they do not teach consolidation loan service student New York Lemon Laws composition class in school. Let us consider your writing style for a second, do you actually have one, or are you just playing it as it lays and meandering all over old school Basketball place in your writing. If you are do not feel so bad, as I think I probably wrote some 4- million words online before even getting a sense of my own writing style.

Of course, it is too bad I did not read up on style in writing long before that, instead I learned the hard way and I admit, like you I still have a ways to go. If I might be so bold as to recommend a very good book on this subject, and don't worry it is a very easy to read, 3-hour max book. In fact, I just re-read it the other day and I am so glad I did:

"The Element of Style" by William Strunck, Jr. and E.B. White - 1972.

In the second edition the authors including an additional chapter on writing. Although even without this extra chapter the first edition is extremely complete and if you are a writer who is continually learning about your chosen path and career you will enjoy it. It is a book that needs to be on your shelf as a reference and as you get better, you will find yourself not needing it, but wanting to use it to look up things you have questions on.

It seems these days that the English Language is being botched due to Instant Messaging and abbreviations in emails, but this does not mean you need allow that to destroy your personal style in writing. When you read this little book, you will be surprised at how valuable it is, but probably not surprised that it sold well over 2 million copies. Go get yourself a copy for your personal library.
